Mallorca

The Home of Rafael Nadal

Mallorca is also the home of tennis legend, Rafael Nadal. He was born in Manacor, a town on the east side of the island where in 2016, he opened the high-performance Rafael Nadal Academy. In 2013, Rafael bought a 4 million euro oceanfront villa in Porto Cristo and that is where he currently lives. The house has direct ocean access and is near the popular Sa Cova des Correus and the family summer residence.

Sa Punta Restaurant, Son Servera

Sa Punta Restaurant, Son Servera is owned by the Nadal family and it is one of Rafael’s favorite places to dine. He says, “The combination of the ocean view, the service, and the food – I always order the catch of the day – grilled – make it a perfect spot”. Live music is played and sometimes, Rafael’s grandfather plays the piano.

Son Brull Hotel & Spa

The 5-star boutique hotel, Son Servera, is the perfect accommodation for you. It is situated nearby Club Tenis Manacor, the clay-courted tennis club where Rafael began playing tennis and which has remained a favorite hometown club for him. Son Brull’s tranquil setting in private grounds provides guests with extraordinary views over the surrounding valleys and the nearby bay of Pollensa. The hotel offers great Yoga classes too.
