Restaurant & Spa

In 1981, French restauranteur Claude Rouas opened Napa Valley’s first fine-dining restaurant, designed to reflect a taste of Provence in California wine country. That is how “The Inn of the Sun” dream was born five years later.

The Restaurant & Spa at the property were recently renovated, bringing it into a new era while maintaining its Provence-meets-California essence.

This refresh included a revitalized private dining room, Le Salon, featuring two oversized glass window walls showcasing champagnes and select wines from the Auberge du Soleil’s extensive cellars.

The property also unveiled enhancements to The Spa and debuted numerous new experiences and programming, including a Picnic & Plein Art Painting experience in the garden.

Upcoming, the property will celebrate Champagne Week from October 21-25 with a variety of dining experiences, including a Champagne-paired dinner in The Restaurant or a three-course dining menu in The Bar.
