Eagle Oak Ranch is an exquisite 750-acre luxury Equestrian retreat in the heart of Paso Robles – surrounded by a 200-acre nature preserve that offers 360-degree panoramic views and a rich blend of elegance and history. Once home to famous Hollywood personalities and equestrian stars, the 8,200 sq. ft estate is steeped in valuable stories.

Ken Kragen, famous music manager and television producer responsible for the 1985 record ‘We Are the World’ and the 1986 charity event ‘Hands Across America’, and his wife, Cathy Worthington, built their luxurious Villa on this sanctuary surrounded by olive and fruit orchards.

They welcomed Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers and Lionel Richie to a home that became a haven for world-class musicians who loved to sit around the garden or the campfire at the top of the property while sharing their stories and their music.

Ken also had astronomers from Berkeley and other universities come out for events once they built the very special NASA room at the top of the villa with its professional telescope. This property is an astronomer’s dream.

The picturesque beauty at Eagle Oak Ranch is enhanced by a long lit driveway framed by Holsteiner horses grazing peacefully across the fields. Even the bloodlines and the quality of the horses are worthy of their own film script. At the top of the driveway is a circular reception area enhanced by cypress trees and shaded by oak trees. There is ample private and secure parking.

The elegant Villa is surrounded by a 15,000 sq ft manicured lawn area that can accommodate seating for 6 or 600 people. It is complemented by an expansive infinity pool overlooking the valley. There is a charming gazebo and a shaded terrace adorned with comfortable seating and an al fresco dining area amidst lush landscaping. A 6,000 sq ft greenhouse, a characterful barn with handpainted doors, and a tennis court (for tented events) are just some of the exceptional features on this unique property.
